Born in 2023 these twice yearly retreats have really grown and emerged into a magical space created by Annamaria and myself, Morven. We soak up the islands unique peace and tranquility during guided walks and dips around the island, taking time to pause and enjoy the white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and the wild flowers and fauna. Unwind with this immersive weekend which will leave you feeling more balanced, spiritually connected and ready to embrace any challenges that lie ahead.

Yoga Retreats
These weekend yoga retreats are run be myself (Morven) and Annamaria, a mentor, teacher trainer and retreat leader who started practising yoga in 1991, when she moved to Scotland. Having now taught yoga for 25 years, Annamaria brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and experience to our retreats. Over the years she has been a Senior Lyenger teacher, an elder on the Independent Yoga Network, a pupil and Scottish retreat organiser for Firooza Ali Ravi, and ran her own yoga and therapy studio in Edinburgh for 20 years. Annamaria is also a craniosacral therapist and an Integrative Baby Therapy (IBT) practitioner.

Annamaria creates retreats that are full of warmth, fun and laughter, that bring people and community together, and are tailored to meet everybody?s needs. She has been visiting Gigha for over 30 years and is enthusiastic about sharing her love for the island. Yoga Retreat Itinerary
Friday

5pm Welcome, grounding and yoga meditation to unwind after travelling.
Followed by dinner at Gigha Village Hall till 8pm.

Saturday

10am - 11.30am We begin our day with Yoga

1pm Lunch

2.30pm Guided Walk

5.30pm Yoga

7pm Dinner

Sunday

10am - 11am Sea Dip (optional)

11.30 - 1pm Yoga

During the yoga retreat we share locally sourced, nutritious vegetarian food, lovingly prepared and cooked by Heather, my sister.
