Located on the beautiful Isle of Gigha, one of the most Southerly islands of the Inner Hebrides, gigha's natural skincare shop is open all year round.
In this cosy, welcoming space you'll find the full range of GNS products, candles, chrystals, art and so much more.
The treatment room is upstairs, where I offer a range of holistic treatments including massage, Reiki and ear candling.
I also run weekend yoga retreats and (coming soon) traditional sauna sessions by the sea.
It has always been very important to me that the skincare products I make are as natural and affordable as possible, without the addition of harmful parabens, mineral oils and animal products.
After suffering with severe eczema as a teenager I found many off-the-shelf products to be either unsuitable, causing flare-ups or simply too expensive.
After over 20 years experience of blending and formulating these products, all ingredients are carefully selected for their individual healing properties.

Enjoying a fun walk with the kids - somewhere on Gigha!
Hi, I'm Morven,
I was fortunate enough to enjoy an idyllic childhood on the beautiful Isle of Gigha, a tiny island on the West coast of Scotland. After a spell away during my twenties, the islands white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters enticed me back.
After studying horticulture and struggling to control my eczema, I started looking at how plants could help me, and gighas natural skincare was born!
As well as making natural skincare products, I offer holistic therapies and run weekend yoga retreats with my friend and yoga teacher, Annamaria. Im also a Reiki Master and practitioner, a passionate cold-water swimmer, and love to walk and hike the hills in my spare time.
Wishing you a lovely day x
My Story
A short note on preservatives
When using water in any product a preservative must be used. For example, without a preservative the shelf life of a moisturiser would only be 2–3 days even when stored in a fridge. We prolong the life of the product by 1–1.5 years with the addition of a preservative. We use two main types, a blend of Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexlglycerin and a blend of Benzyl alcohol, Salicylic acid, Glycerin and Sorbic acid.
All products are vegan with the exception of lip balm, which contains certified organic beeswax, supporting sustainable practices. Vegan trademark applied for.
Location
gigha's natural skincare is situated at the Craft Units (number 2), near the hotel and next to the Isle of Gigha Trust office, just a short walk up from the ferry.
